Winnie’s Story

a woman self-reflecting

Winnie's Background:

  • Winnie in her late 40's, is single, and lives alone.
  • She finished her cancer treatments about 6 months ago.
  • Coping with breast cancer has been difficult for Winnie and she is looking forward to seeing her close friend, Tinzin. Winnie has not seen Tinzin for quite some time because Tinzin was travelling. Tinzin does not know about Winnie's cancer.

As you watch this video, we want you to pay attention and consider that:

  • Women living with breast cancer do not have to cope alone.
  • Women living with breast cancer respond and cope differently.
  • Women can take charge to help themselves to return to life after treatment.
